Julie joined the GVAC team in January 2022 after graduating as a veterinary assistant with honours from Robertson College. She has always had a passion for all animals, but has a specific interest in exotic animals and canine behaviour. She lives here in Brandon with her fiancé, her German shepherd mix Nova, her 2 Guinea pigs, and 2 rabbits. When Julie is not working, she likes to spend her free time with her family, as well as hiking and training with Nova.
