Mandy qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in the UK, doing her training at Rodbaston, Staffordshire College of Agriculture. Her father was a Veterinarian in the UK and she helped at the clinic from a young age. She grew up in a house full of pets and rescued wildlife which made life interesting. She emigrated to Canada in March 2000, with her husband, three children, three dogs, two cats and a horse. In January 2004, she did her national exam in Canada to become a Registered Veterinary Technologist.
Mandy lives in Souris with her husband, two dogs (Norman and Lexi), five cats (Fizz, Sterling, Diesel, Wilbur and Bitzy), two horses (Chico and Mac), and a tank of Cichlids. She started working for Grand Valley in May 2012. Mandy spends her free time with her horses either riding or hanging out with them and walking/playing with her dogs/cats. She also likes travelling and spending time with family and friends.
