We're Accepting New Patients
Safe and non-invasive diagnostic imaging services to examine your pet's internal systems.
Both ultrasounds and radiographs can help veterinarians examine your pet's body closely, allowing us to diagnose health issues that impact their internal systems and structures. It can help us assess the organs and bones for disease, blockages, fractures, and other unseen problems. To learn more about these diagnostic testing, call us at 204-728-0033.
Ultrasound provides our vets with a 3D view of your pet's internal chest and abdominal organs. If we recommend an ultrasound, a board-certified veterinarian attends our clinic to obtain and interpret the images in collaboration with our vets, again on-site, and in real-time. Ultrasound also allows us to obtain guided tissue samples if required for a comprehensive diagnostic. On the other hand, radiographs examine hard-structured areas like bones and ligaments. In many cases, X-rays and ultrasound are done together to obtain the most diagnostic information possible, since the two procedures complement and enhance one another.
Soft tissue problems, such as the gastrointestinal, heart, and nervous systems, are usually identified with ultrasound. This is because ultrasound can provide us with a 3D view of your pet's internal chest and abdominal organs. It also allows us to obtain guided tissue samples if required for a comprehensive diagnostic.
Our veterinary team can rapidly diagnose your pet's injury or condition via X-rays and ultrasound imaging. Once we have analyzed and determined the depth of your pet's illness or injury, a treatment plan will be developed to help your pet heal. If you have any questions or concerns about your pet's health and his or her diagnosis, we would be happy to answer them and provide you with guidance to help make your pet comfortable during the healing process.
